Following the previous success of the initiative in May, the Scam Van is heading to Eyemouth, Kelso, Galashiels and Hawick on 1, 2, 3 and 4 October respectively to spread the word about current scams and offer guidance on how they can be avoided.
Residents will also be given access to community support and resources that will help them equip themselves and others against scammers.
Councillor Robin Tatler, Scottish Borders Council Executive Member for Public Safety and Resilience, said: “It is fantastic that following the success of the Scam Van Tour in May we are able to bring it back to the Borders.
“This is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness and I would encourage everyone to visit the van, especially residents that missed the tour earlier in the year, as it offers valuable insights and tools to help protect yourself and the wider community.”
